2011 Toyota Texas Bass Classic – Event Details

Tournament Information

What: The Toyota Texas Bass Classic – a world-class bass fishing tournament, featuring the top tournament bass anglers from the three major professional bass fishing tours (Bassmaster Elite Series, FLW Tour, and PAA Tournment Series), along with a festival to include exceptional entertainment and a variety of family and industry activities

When: October 28-30, 2011

Where: Lake Conroe, Texas (approximately 45 miles north of Houston)

Who: 50 PAA Professionals

Format: Three-day, no-entry fee, individual format competition adhering to conservation guidelines

Angler Payout: A total purse of $420,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded. The 2011 champion will receive $100,000 cash and a prize boat package valued at $50,000.

Television: Two hours of original coverage on VERSUS, part of the NBC Sports group

Events / Entertainment: Extraordinary live music and entertainment along with events that will appeal to the whole family. This will include a variety of games and activities at the Texas Parks & Wildlife Outdoor Adventures, incredible food and a fishing industry expo featuring seminars and the latest in fishing equipment, gear and accessories. Merchandise will be available for purchase at the tournament venue.
