PAA Teams Up With Game & Fish
Thanks to a new partnership, tournament pros in the Professional Anglers Association now will have another 4.2 million fishermen looking over their shoulders this summer.
Those millions of new fans will be delivered courtesy of Game & Fish magazine, a new media partner for the Professional Anglers Association.
The nationwide Game & Fish audience now will have access to the stories and techniques of the PAA pros, through the pages of its 28 market-specific magazines and its comprehensive web site (www.gameandfishmag.com). The Game & Fish/Sportsman titles will promote PAA events, help local readers spend a day on the water with the nation’s best anglers, and allow them to follow their favorite pros throughout the tournament season.
The PAA is the only national tournament trail where professional anglers from both leagues — FLW and B.A.S.S. — compete in the same events. By covering the best anglers in the world, Game & Fish Magazine will bring its audience the latest insights into new fishing tactics, hot lures and fishing gear.
“We see this as a great opportunity to elevate the Game & Fish brand while delivering compelling content for our readers, and to collaborate with the top fishing pros in the nation,” said Game & Fish publisher Peter Gross.
In an added twist, Game & Fish magazine will have its own pro angler competing in the PAA Tournament Series to provide a first-hand look inside professional bass fishing. Readers will be able to follow his experiences via online updates as the Game & Fish boat crisscrosses the country on the tournament trail.
“This is a great partnership that will be mutually beneficial for the PAA and Game & Fish brands,” said PAA President Dave Mansue. “PAA members will have the opportunity to enjoy the great fishing and outdoors stories online and in Game & Fish publications nationwide, while also learning about the PAA, its pros and their successful techniques.”
“This partnership brings tremendous exposure value to our Tour level members. We look forward to working with the Game & Fish brands to provide readers and PAA members with compelling content to better help them enjoy the outdoors.”
The next Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series event is Aug. 18-20 on Neely Henry Lake in Gadsden, Ala.
