Bonus Programs Pay Off for PAA Anglers
By Dave Mansue
We all have thought about tournament bonus programs and whether we should put out the additional dollars to join and take a chance on the return. Well, after the recent Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series event presented by Carrot Stix on Neely Henry Lake in Gadsden, Ala., you might think twice if you said “no” to signing up for a bonus program.
Through cooperation with Toyota Bonus Bucks, Power Pole Captain’s Cash Reward and Boat U.S. Weigh-to-Win, PAA anglers have a great opportunity to increase their total winnings with bonuses from these companies.
Is it worth it? Well, let’s ask Neely Henry Lake Pro Angler Champion Fred Roumbanis who received an additional $500 from Power Pole Captain’s Cash Rewards (www.power-pole.com) or Missile Baits pro John Crews and Carrot Stix pro Russ Lane who received $1,500 and $1,000 respectively from Toyota Bonus Bucks (www.toyotatrucksbonusbucks.com). Also available to the pros was $500 from Boat U.S. Weigh-to-Win (http://www.boatus.com/angler/tournament_incentives.asp).
Additional bonus dollars were available to Co-Anglers fishing the event as well.
These programs work! PAA thanks these fine companies for their support of the PAA and PAA anglers.
