Friday’s sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 80s gave way to overcast conditions, persistent rain showers, and temperatures in the 70s on Saturday.
The sixth annual Toyota Texas Bass Classic is a world championship where the top fifty pro anglers of bass fishing are invited each year to compete in a no-entry fee tournament.
Texas’ Todd Faircloth and Minnesota’s Jim Moynagh led the charge, each boating a 17 pound limit to tie for the day one lead.
The Toyota Texas Bass Classic has partnered with Fishhound.com to use a specially-created app that allows on-board judges and TTBC tournament officials to validate and record each pro angler’s catch in real-time, so that fish may be immediately released.
