Bass University

Hands-on experience is the best way to learn about fishing, but sometimes another great way is to discuss tactics and strategies with other anglers in an informal setting.

That’s what helped The Bass University gain popularity last year and now it’s back for another season of teaching and instruction from some of the top professional anglers in the world. Founded by veteran pros Michael “Ike” Iaconelli and Pete Gluszek, The Bass University is set for its second year at five sites.

The two-day sessions are held in an informal “classroom” setting with many of the nation’s top bass fishermen. Attendees can listen, ask questions and get answers about everything from why some knots or hooks are better to more specific strategies about lakes, vegetation, lures, boat positioning, time management and more.

Student registration is now being accepted by logging onto www.TheBassUniversity.com.
